By downloading, accessing, or using ForkArt ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use ForkArt. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You may browse the public gallery without creating an account.
An account is required to upload artwork, use social features, or make any payments on the platform.
Important: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it.
You retain ownership of any artwork or creative content you upload to ForkArt.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
ForkArt is a platform for original creative work. The following categories of content are strictly prohibited on ForkArt, and any attempt to upload, share, or monetize them — including through tipping, subscriptions, or any other payment feature — will result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of pending earnings.
Pornographic, sexually explicit, or adult content of any kind is not permitted on ForkArt. The use of any platform monetization feature — including tips, fan subscriptions, or payouts — in connection with adult content or adult services is strictly prohibited.
Uploading, distributing, or monetizing content that infringes the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of any third party is prohibited. This includes unauthorized use of licensed artwork, music, characters, brand assets, or any content you do not have the right to share or commercialize.
Content that promotes, glorifies, incites, or finances terrorism, violent extremism, or hate-based violence is strictly prohibited. ForkArt will not process payments or distribute earnings connected to such content and will report credible threats to appropriate authorities.
Enforcement: Violations of this policy will result in permanent account suspension, forfeiture of all pending earnings, removal of content, and referral to law enforcement where applicable. ForkArt reserves the right to determine what constitutes a violation at its sole discretion.
ForkArt has zero tolerance for content that sexually exploits or endangers minors. Any content depicting, promoting, or facilitating child sexual abuse material is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination, removal of content, and referral to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement as required by law.
ForkArt may remove or disable access to content if it violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, or if we receive a valid legal complaint.
Content removal does not affect ownership rights retained by the original creator.
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.
ForkArt allows users to tip artists directly on creative works they enjoy. Tips are a voluntary expression of appreciation and are non-refundable. A platform fee of 2–3% is deducted from each tip to support platform operations. The remainder is distributed automatically to the artist and contributors in the creative lineage chain via Stripe.
ForkArt's collaborative pay system automatically distributes a portion of tips to artists whose work contributed to a piece through the remix chain. Split percentages are calculated based on the lineage structure at the time of the tip. All splits are visible to contributors. ForkArt is not responsible for disputes between contributors regarding split percentages.
Artist payouts are processed via Stripe Connect. To receive earnings you must create or connect a Stripe account. Payouts are issued once a minimum threshold of $25 has been reached. ForkArt is not responsible for delays caused by Stripe or banking institutions.
Artists may opt into a monthly subscription tier ($5–10/month) to unlock fan supporter features. This fee covers access to platform tools only — fan subscription payments go directly to the artist minus standard payment processing fees. ForkArt does not take a percentage of fan subscription income.
In the event of a disputed or charged-back payment, ForkArt reserves the right to withhold or offset future payouts to recover disputed amounts. Repeated disputed transactions may result in account suspension and forfeiture of pending earnings.
Self-tipping, coordinated tip manipulation, sock puppet accounts, and any attempt to artificially generate platform payouts are strictly prohibited and will result in permanent account suspension and forfeiture of all pending earnings.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. ForkArt does not store credit card or banking information. By making a payment on ForkArt you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Artists are solely responsible for reporting and paying applicable taxes on earnings received through ForkArt. ForkArt will issue tax documentation as required by law (e.g. 1099 forms for US-based creators earning over $600/year).
Your use of ForkArt is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with. By using the App, you also agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
ForkArt is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForkArt will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any loss of earnings or disputes between creators regarding lineage splits or payouts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email.
